Patrick Muldrew fell in love with music at a very early age. It was no surprise, coming from a musical family; his grandmother was the first woman to sing Jazz repertoire at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Performing throughout Australia as both a singer and trombonist, Patrick has worked in a variety of musical settings, ranging from Classical Orchestras & Chamber ensembles right through to Jazz, Funk, R&B & Pop groups. Patrick was a founding member of the popular Sydney Swing band, The Velvet Set, and has performed extensively with the ever-successful group Wonderbrass - including their involvement in Melbourne as the backing band for the superstar chef, Jamie Oliver.

Now focusing on his passion for Jazz, Patrick wants to share his unique sound and love of music with others. With standards taken from The Great American Songbook and elsewhere, he draws on influences ranging from Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr to Kurt Elling and Harry Connick Jr
